Royal Challengers Bengaluru etched their name in history by clinching the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 title in a thrilling final against Delhi Capitals at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Under the inspirational leadership of captain Smriti Mandhana, RCB pulled off the biggest run chase ever in a WPL final, successfully chasing a massive target of 204 runs in just 19.4 overs, showcasing fearless batting and remarkable composure under pressure. This emphatic victory marked RCB’s second WPL championship, further strengthening their dominance in women’s cricket. With this triumph, RCB were awarded a prize money of ₹6 crore, while runners-up Delhi Capitals also walked away with ₹3 crore, making the final rewarding for both teams.
