Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi has teamed up with producer Dinesh vijan for Prahaar : The Ujjwal Nikam Story. This film is directed by Avinash Arun and backed by Maddock Films, the film co stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Sikander Kher and Jaideep Ahlawat in main roles\
This film is based on a true event on the life of special public prosecutor Ujjwal NIkam who was associated with serveral high profile murder and terrorism cases in India. Over the years, he closed worked with cases liked to Bombay Bombing of 1993 ; the Gulshan Kumar murder case, the Pramod Mahajan murder case and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Additionally also Nikam represented the state during the 26/11 Mumbai attack trial.
This historic biopic is all set to release on 28th August on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
