A major buzz has emerged around Ranbir Kapoor’s much-anticipated epic Ramayan, a mega-budget project reportedly mounted at an unprecedented ₹4000 crore, as fresh speculation swirls around the casting of the pivotal character Vibhishan. According to industry reports, versatile powerhouse performer Vijay Sethupathi—who recently stormed the ₹1000-crore club with Jawan—has been approached to play Vibhishan, adding a strong pan-India dimension to the film. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayan already boasts a star-studded ensemble with Ranbir Kapoor stepping into the divine role of Lord Ram, Yash portraying the formidable Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol essaying the role of Hanuman.
