Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Dominates Box Office Clash With Prabhas’ The Raja Saab

The box office has once again turned into a battleground between Bollywood and South cinema, with two big names delivering very different results. On one side is Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, a film that continues to earn strongly even weeks after its release, and on the other is Prabhas’ pan-India project The Raja Saab, which is struggling to attract audiences despite its massive budget. After completing eight days in theatres, The Raja Saab managed to collect around ₹149 crore in India and nearly ₹182 crore worldwide in its first six days. However, the momentum slowed significantly as the film earned approximately ₹5.5 crore on day seven and ₹3.5 crore on day eight, taking its total collection to about ₹191 crore so far. Considering the film is made on a budget of over ₹400 crore, it is still far from recovering even half of its cost. In contrast, Dhurandhar continues to tell a success story at the box office. Even on its 43rd day, the film is adding to its numbers, with total India collections reaching nearly ₹818 crore and worldwide earnings crossing the ₹1,270 crore mark. While The Raja Saab did manage to outperform Dhurandhar in single-day collections on day eight, the overall picture is clear when it comes to total earnings and returns. Dhurandhar has already earned close to ten times its budget, while The Raja Saab remains under pressure. The clash clearly shows that star power and the pan-India label alone do not guarantee success, and audience connection continues to be the biggest factor at the box office, where Dhurandhar is currently far ahead.
